In presenting this award, the judges recognised Hussey & Co’s pivotal role in shaping the Australian baby leaf industry to meet growing international demand for premium salad products. Since beginning exports in 2002, the company has expanded significantly, becoming one of Australia’s leading exporters of fresh salad.

With all export products processed at Hussey & Co’s Victorian site, the company is helping to shape the future of Gippsland agribusiness, whilst supporting the region’s economy and providing enduring benefits to the wider community.
